As the first generation of IP expert in China, Mr. Liu began his IP career since 1994. His solid expertise and more than 20 years experiences in IP field, has provided valuable assistance to the clients for solving difficulties of intellectual property. So far he has assisted many clients for the prosecution, opposition and lawsuit such as Qualcomm, Intel, Lenovo, ZTE, etc.

Making his participation in the formation of the Department and the company business strategy with regard to patent area, Mr. Liu has nurtured and mentored many talents with enterprise intellectual property management experience. He excels in patent application, response, invalidation, litigation and counseling in telecommunication, electronics, automatic control, machinery etc., and provide legal opinion for dozens of major litigations concerning with patent infringement.

Mr. Liu also has been a scholar, who has done thorough research about the intellectual property all over the world. Currently, Mr. Liu is invited by Tsinghua University as the lecture professor to give a course at each semester about Intellectual Property. He is also been named as special experts of Beijing Higher Court, and also to be the researcher for the third amendment of the China Patent Law. In addition, he published vast number of articles in《Patent Law Research》、《China Patent and Trademark》and 《China Patent Attorney》
